Kristin Lake, B.Sc., C.V.T. is a highly experienced and accomplished Certified Veterinary Technician (C.V.T.) whose career in Veterinary Medicine spans over two decades. A Veterinary Technician Educator in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, Kristin Lake has an impressive 22 years of experience in challenging fields including ER/ICU, Anesthesia & Analgesia, Medical Oncology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery Anesthesia, and Exotic Animal Emergency Medicine. Her commitment to advancing the profession extends to education and authorship. She is the Author of ‘The Veterinary Technician’s Guide to Emergency & Critical Care: First and Second Editions which serves as an essential resource for Veterinary Technicians. She is also the Founder of VetMedMath Tutoring, a tutoring service created to teach veterinary professionals medical mathematics for crucial tests like the VTNE and for on-the-job competence. She founded VetMedRounds as well which designs cover art for veterinary-specific ICU inpatient Rounding Books which she also designed with Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in mind.
