Bio
Lamia has completed a Masters of Applied Law (majoring in commercial litigation). Lamia practises in litigation disputes specialising in building and construction disputes, real property, corporation litigation and family law. Lamia has many years of experience in all areas of family law matters including parenting. Also, given her extensive commercial law and litigation expertise, her insights into the property aspects of divorce are invaluable. She is driven by practical and pragmatic solutions for clients and is an advocate for negotiated settlements. She has extensive knowledge and experience in property law in particular acquisition of land, subdivision, property development as well as sophisticated leasing and acquisition deals. Lamia has worked on complex insolvencies, restructuring and debt recovery as well as being seconded with Australia’s corporate regulator. With a special interest in project management and systemised operations, Lamia successfully obtained certification in Legal Best Practise Law 9000 and ISO 9001 Quality Assurance certification.
